The core moulding machine is made to manufacture cores for industrial metal casting. The cores are manufactured as separate parts by setting up a mould and mixing casting sand with a stabilizer which will set with heat.
The mould is then closed hydraulically. The sand and stabilizer mix is poured into the multiple moulds. Heating the mix is an important step; we use multiple gas jets for the heating while keeping the mix in constant motion. The entire process is PLC controlled to ensure a constant production quality.
